Good morning, Husky Families,
I hope everyone is safe and unharmed from this whirlwind of weather we have going on. We lost power in Ann Arbor yesterday with the Tornado Warning and there is still no ETA for power restoration. It happened right at my own kids’ dismissal, so they were delayed for almost 45 minutes. I’ve never experienced anything like that at dismissal, but it highlights the importance of practicing these types of drills—something we are heading into ourselves very shortly.
Nonetheless, I took my kids to the Howell-Belleville football game last night at Belleville and the weather was lovely! It was great seeing a few recognizable families and also, a few staff members.
Speaking of football—Next week, we will have Spirit Week as we head into the High School Homecoming Parade.
- Tuesday: Green & Gold Day
- Wednesday: Hat Day
